Here’s a little winter wedding to cool you down since it’s been a little warm and humid lately. Kelsey and Nathan married in November at the church where Nathan is the youth minister. It was heart warming to see how the reception site came together with a help from a few friends (meaning, the entire church). I think every family must have loaned their dining room chairs to the church reception, while every good cook shared their special cake recipe!
Amy and Will married at one of our favorite churches- Columbus FUM. The ceremony was followed by a reception out at the family’s land- laden with ancient oak trees, green meadows, and an old barn. Farm tables and furnishings from Busylad in Tupelo, MS and floral design by Tracy Proctor adorned this rustic, chic wedding reception. It did rain- actually, it poured- but just for a while. It cleared and the party never stopped. Congratulations, Amy and Will!
Carlie and Caleb had the privilege of tying the knot a couple of times! They actually eloped, and then a few weeks later had a very intimate, private ceremony and reception at The Elvis Presley Chapel. The announcements that we pre-photographed went out the very day of the wedding ceremony. Caleb’s job transfer has since transplanted them to New Orleans where Carlie created and writes for a blog called New in NOLA. Tupelo misses Carlie and Caleb, but we wish them the best!
While this wedding happened last year, I wanted to be sure and share images from Hunter and Zack’s wedding at First Presbyterian Church in Tupelo, MS. Â I will long cherish the time spent with this family and the photographs captured-especially of Hunter and her dad, Mr. Hank.
Flowers:Â Designs by Tracy Proctor
Reception:Â Park Heights Restaurant
You may have seen this BEAUTY from our ad this year in Mississippi Magazine. Thank you, Lyndsey Freeny for letting me get a little creative during your bridal session! There is so much I loved about this wedding-first and foremost I gained lifelong friends in this family and it was my first bridal brunch that I was invited to participate sins a camera. I also loved the historic Vicksburg, MS location, the awesome bride and groom, the very fun wedding party, and I could go on and on but I think I’ll let the images speak the rest for me. Ceremony: Crawford Street UMC; Reception: B’nai B’rith Literary Club (BB CLUB); Caterer: Storycook Favorites; Dress: Imaginations Bridal; Flowers: The Ivy Place; Planner: Stella and Company.
